Warm Homes Countdown: Mobilising For Efficient Retrofit Delivery

Introduction

Retrofit projects under Wave 2 of the Warm Homes Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), originally due for completion earlier this year, were first extended to September 2025 and have now been pushed back again to March 2026. In the meantime, Wave 3 has been awarded, with 29% of funds due to be spent in the first financial year (by spring 2026), and projects completed by September 2028.
